The Society of Jesus is in ‘profound decline’

Father Julio Fernández Techera, a Jesuit priest and rector of the Catholic University of Uruguay, has written a widely circulated, critical essay about the Society of Jesus warning that the order, founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1534, is in “deep decline.” https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/new...

Prayers please for an 8 week unborn child

I just spoke to someone and she told me that her baby's heart beat is too slow and from what the doctors say, the baby may not live. Please pray with me to St. John of God, the Heart Saint, that this child's heart will stabilize. God knows who she is.

Thanks in advance

Re: October 12th Blessed Carlo Acutis

Carlo Acutis to Be First Millennial Saint I am positive Carlo is the one who took care of my Grayson. Grayson loves him and I even brought a picture of him to the hospital with me and Grayson kissed it. To be diagnosed with what he had and to go home the next afternoon is a miracle. https://www.ncre...

May 24th St. Joanna

Saint Joanna was the wife of Herod's household stewart Khouza (Χουζά) and she served the Lord during His public ministry, along with some other women. She is mentioned in Luke 8:3 and 24:10. According to Tradition, she recovered the head of Saint John the Baptist after Herodias had disposed of it (F...

Our Lady As Reflected in the Magnificat

Reflect with me, in Mary’s month, on what we learn about Mary – her personality and her virtues – from the Magnificat. I don’t mean what it says, so much as (i) the fact that we have it at all; (ii) the fact that she composed it; and (iii) what it does not say. https://www.thecatholicthing.org/2024/...

May 23rd St. Julia of Corsica

In Corsica, Saint Julia the Virgin, through the agony of the Cross, obtained the crown of Glory. A Christian of Carthaginian origin, sold as a slave, the ship carrying her would have called to port at Nonza. It is there that, in hatred of faith, she would have be tortured and crucified in 303, thoug...

Re: PLEASE PRAY FOR MY LITTLE GRAYSON!!!!!

Jonathan took Grayson to his checkup today for his blood platelet count. Last week when he was in the ER his count was around 11,000. Now it is 468,000 where it should be! The doctor said what happened to Grayson is rare and likely won't happen to him again. He's going back in 6-8 weeks for one fina...
