God's creatures, small and smaller.

I can sit on my front deck and watch the country critters come and eat. I am very close to where they feed. About 12 to 15 Mourning Doves hang out at my house but they are frightened very easily so I don't go out when they are eating; it scares them away. I also have a pair of Cardinals that live he...

Tornado last night

Stephen woke me up right after 11 PM and said we needed to get into the storm shelter. A tornado was coming straight for us and it was huge. It was a super cell. First I burnt blessed palm and prayed the prayer against storms; I grabbed my tornado bag and we ran down there and my daughter, Nichole, ...

May 26th St. Pope Eleutherius of Rome

Little is known of the life of Eleutherius. Of Greek background, his name is Greek for "frank, honest, free spirited". He was born in the Nicopolis in Epirus. He was a deacon in the Church of Rome under Bishops Anicetus and Soter of Rome. Chosen to succeed Bp. Soter, Eleutherius is remembered mainly...

The Society of Jesus is in ‘profound decline’

Father Julio Fernández Techera, a Jesuit priest and rector of the Catholic University of Uruguay, has written a widely circulated, critical essay about the Society of Jesus warning that the order, founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1534, is in “deep decline.” https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/new...

Prayers please for an 8 week unborn child

I just spoke to someone and she told me that her baby's heart beat is too slow and from what the doctors say, the baby may not live. Please pray with me to St. John of God, the Heart Saint, that this child's heart will stabilize. God knows who she is.

Thanks in advance
