The link above has a picture of Reginald and case history.

What is ironic to me in this case is that his twin brother was with him when the crime was committed? Why isn't his brother on death row too?

Let's pray for Reginald and for the man he killed.

Looks like Reginald is the one who actually pulled the trigger so he gets the death penalty. I looked and can't find out what happened to his brother. I might have missed it.
And so , with every beat of my heart, I thank You, my God, for your great mercy towards me.~Saint Faustina~

Reginald Blanton was executed Tuesday

Post by josephw » Wed Oct 28, 2009 5:04 am

Proclaiming innocence to the very end, condemned murderer Reginald Blanton was executed Tuesday for the 2000 robbery-slaying of a 22-year-old Hispanic man in San Antonio.

Blanton, 28, was pronounced dead by lethal injection at 6:21 p.m., just eight minutes after the dosage began at 6:13 p.m.

This is one of the reasons I really don't like the death penalty. God knows whether this man was innoccent of murder or not.
