Tafida Raqeeb, a five-year-old girl in a coma, has been sentenced to death by doctors who refuse to recognize the value of her life or the wishes of her parents.
Doctors are refusing her treatment even though specialist say that her condition is treatable, and hospital administrators are not even willing to let Tafida be taken to another hospital in Italy to receive private care -- care not funded by the government in any way.
They won't even allow that!
And now, unfortunately, the hospital is going to court to force their death sentence on Tafida. Just because one hospital does not want to treat her, it does not give them the right to prevent others from doing so.
