Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller, former prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith has denounced the upcoming synod saying that, “An ideological vision is emerging that has nothing to do with Catholicism. This Synod is a pretext for changing the Church, and the fact it is being held in Rome is meant to underscore the beginning of a new Church.”
