Natural Family Planning International, Inc.

This forum is a place to discuss issues regarding NFP (Natural Family Planning) and related subjects. It is a place not only to talk about the mechanics of NFP, but also about the moral and physical dangers of contraception as well as the joys and blessings of children and families. As in the other forums, the teachings of the Catholic Church are to be respected. Keep conversation adult and polite.

Welcome!

http://www.nfpandmore.org/

This is the website of Natural Family Planning International, Inc. The mission of this not-for-profit organization is twofold: 1) to promote and teach chastity and Natural Family Planning, and 2) to promote and explain some aspects of Catholic prayer-life and teaching. NFP International currently has a special interest in helping NFP efforts in Eastern Europe.

* Natural Family Planning (NFP) is a way of following God's Plan for achieving and/or avoiding pregnancy. It consists of ways to achieve or to avoid pregnancy using the physical and moral means that God has built into human nature.

* Natural family planning consists of two distinct methods:
1. Ecological breastfeeding, a form of child care that normally spaces babies about two years apart on the average.
2. A system that uses a woman's signs of fertility to determine the fertile and infertile times of her fertility cycle.

* Marital chastity is defined according to the Biblical-Traditional norms taught by the Catholic Church.

The information on this website will help any interested person -- believer or atheist -- to understand what and why the Catholic Church teaches about marital sexuality, including birth control. This website introduces readers to natural family planning and encourages them to learn more.

Natural Family Planning International, Inc. is currently a 100% volunteer effort. The founders are volunteers, and NFPI has no employees or other volunteers.
