Is chicken meat?

Post by Lori » Sun May 18, 2008 4:29 pm

I thought the answer was obvious but I was wrong.

Last Friday I was travelling with my family in the Dallas metroplex. We stopped to grab something quick to eat. The lady who ran the restaurant told me that chicken wasn't meat and that I could eat it on Fridays. I tried to correct her. She asked me if I was really Catholic because she attends the Cathedral and that is what is taught down there. :?

Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales
