Re: Please pray for my husband

He is still in the hospital and that infectious disease doc isn't making things sound very hopeful. He will be on antibiotics for two months when he gets home and she told him he could keep getting this nasty bacteria. It can kill! I am praying that after this round that God will miraculously correct it all. He told me he wished he'd never had surgery and just lived with the cancer until he died. And he was doing so great when he first came home after surgery. He got this mess in the hospital so I may have a few words for them.

I would have words, and not nice ones either! People have surgery in a hospital with the hopes and thoughts of recovering with better health. Not getting nasty infections. I'm fully aware of can happen, but it sure makes you wonder...

I'd pray on it a lot before I said anything (see first sentence above), and let the holy spirit guide my words. But I'd at the very least want questions answered.

I'm sure praying. May God grant a miracle for Stephen!

I just picked Stephen up from the hospital and we are home. Please continue to pray that this will be the last of the bacterial infection. ✝ Thanks!

Can you believe that Stephen went to work this morning? Wow! I made him promise me that if he started to feel bad that he would come home; he promised. Please say a little prayer that he will be okay.

Well, he made it through two weeks and is looking better day by day. He has gained about 25 pounds so far and is beginning to look like he did before he got sick. 😊 All your prayers for him have been very appreciated and we have seen miracles. Thank you, thank you!

Every time he starts progressing something else happens. He is having a hard time with being constipated and it had him down after Mass yesterday and today he is still in the bed and wasn't able to go to work. I hope that is all it is because he is in severe pain. If he doesn't get any better by noon I will have him call his doctor.
