God forgive me

I am struggling. I don't want to pray for the recently deceased pope. (If you need to know why, read the article Denise posted about confused catholics)

it has been a difficult papacy to contend with as we watched
good , kind , leaders removed or excommunicated, all because
they (as was their right) questioned decisions that not even
a pope can make and put into effect. The enormous constant making of new
cardinals was extraordinary by francis.
They form 80% who will decide on the new pope.


Recently while visiting a prison,
the deceased francis stated that it should be him in there instead
of the prisoners (or something to that effect) but from his own mouth

It was an extraordinary comment to make by francis who was just
starting to realise his frailty and knew it was his time.

He received the last rights, and we know through God's mercy
and his infinite wisdom will handle the situation.

So we lift him up trusting that God will handle it according to His divine will and justice.

The fact that he said that really makes me think.
May he rest in peace.

Because of the Grace of God, that is why. Let's not squander that grace.

My dad taught me the words; But for the grace of God go I!
