Transubstantiation - Hard to Believe?

If there is any one Catholic doctrine that people struggle with, it has to be transubstantiation – the teaching that, during the Mass, bread and wine become the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

The problems started during Jesus’ public ministry, as this Sunday’s gospel shows.

Why, then, would the Church institute a special feast - Corpus Christi - to highlight this challenging dogma?
