Please pray for us.

Post by Denise »

Stephanie just tested positive for Covid. She was here Monday but had no fever until yesterday. Aniya was here also. Please pray that since she had no fever that it wasn't contagious for us and pray for her. She isn't feeling well at all. We have to be mindful of how we are feeling by Friday or Monday. My poor husband sure doesn't need this now.

Stephanie just called me and is on the way to the ER to have a chest X-ray. Her oxygen level is low and the doctor wants to make sure she doesn't have pneumonia. I am very worried about Stephen because if he gets this evil virus then he cannot keep his appointment for surgery and I have no idea what will happen.

I am just wondering that just because you were around someone that has the virus if it means others automatically get it. My daughter and her husband were around my grandson and they never got it, and they are a very close family who are always together. I know I should not worry so much but I can't help it. I take my temp many times throughout the day, drink tonic water and have been taking zinc daily for a while now. Lord have mercy on us!

Stephanie just called and said her lungs are clear! Thank you for the prayers; thank YOU JESUS! The doctor she saw also had covid and she told Stephanie to alternate Tylenol and Advil every four hours without fail until the pains go away. Also told her to take D3, zinz, and C. I was already taking the first two. I can't tell you how worried I am for my poor husband. He has gained 12 pounds since his treatments stopped. He needs the surgery badly and I am praying he is not going to get covid.

Just got a frantic call from Stephanie; she is on the floor and cannot breathe; ambulance is on the way to get her. She is very frightened. Please ramp up the prayers. I have tried to call Baylee, her daughter, but she isn't answering the phone. I sent her a text.

Marie, she lost taste and smell, fever, hard time breathing.

Okay, Stephanie got a CT scan and it shows pneumonia in both lungs. The X-ray didn't show it the other day. They told her to do what she has been doing and there is nothing they can do about it. She will not be using that albuterol in that breathing junk. She thinks that is what caused it. That is the same thing that happened to my mom when she was in the hospital. Please just keep praying for her and that God allows us, Aniya and Jonathan to take a pass on getting this evil virus. Stephen has his surgery appointment on Thursday and if he gets this he is a cooked goose. They won't keep his appointment.

Stephen was supposed to have a phone meeting with his surgeon on the 12th but since primary care drug their feet in getting a referral, that got cancelled. He got on the phone with that primary place and with the insurance company yesterday and finally the referral went through and now he will have a CT scan on December 1st and the meeting with the surgeon on the 2nd.

God is in control and since he isn't feeling well it may be a good thing that it was delayed. He thinks he has flu and he even told 4 doctors that he was around Stephanie the day before she tested positive for covid and they all seemed the least bit concerned because of the symptoms he is having. The never told him to get tested. Please keep him in your prayers. Me too please.

Stephanie has been fever free for 4 days now. She did a lab test yesterday and will likely get results tomorrow. Praying for a negative.
