Pray for my sister's family

In this forum you can write about your relationship with the Lord, your spiritual life, devotions you may take part in, works of Mercy you have done, what apostolates you are part of, ask for prayer, talk about the heavenly family (The Saints, Holy Mother, The Lord), talk about the triumphs in your life, and the misfortunes in your life.

Pray for my sister's family

Post by Johnna »

My sister, Christy, and many of her family have Covid. Christy is the sister that my dad was living with oddly enough, he was Covid free. For him, it was the cancer, in the end.
My niece is in the hospital with Covid, but doing ok considering.
My nephew started a fever Tuesday, but had been previously vaccinated! (My sister's are older than me. Their kids are grown.)
My family is protestant, but we can't have any sort of a service until health risks are over and it's safe for us to travel to michigan.
And of course, their wellbeing comes first. Pray that they all recover and remain healthily.
Domine Non Sum Dignus!

Holiness is not for wimps and the cross is not negotiable, sweetheart, it's a requirement.

I pray this every morning so your family has already been included

Prayer to St. Corona in a Time of Epidemic

Lord Jesus Christ, You came into this world for our salvation. Look kindly on us now, we pray, that we, and all those who serve You, might be kept safe from this epidemic.

Heal those who are sick, comfort the suffering, bring back those who have gone astray, and above all, increase our faith, O Lord.

Give us the grace to follow You and, like the martyr St. Corona, who gave her life for love of You, to take up our crosses daily without fear or hesitation.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

St. Corona, patroness of epidemic victims, pray for us.
Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales
