They are commemorated on May 22 in the Carthaginian Calendar, in the Geronimian Martyrology and in the Roman one. Arrested during the persecution of Decius (about 250) they overcame their initial weakness and, touched by grace, heroically confronted the executioner, washing the shame of the previous fall with blood.
The only source on them is St. Cyprian, who, in De lapsis, points to them as an example of the victory of courage over fear. St. Augustine composed a sermon in their honor on the anniversary of martyrdom, without giving further news.
