Candy Canes on your tree? What to do...

Post by Denise »

I put lots of candy canes on my tree every year. I usually try to give them to the kids. This year I am going to freeze them and save them for next year. I don't eat them, and I don't want to throw them away. We shall see if it works.

How To Freeze Candy Canes

If you’ve decided that you want to go down the route of freezing your candy canes, then here is how simple it is:

Prepare Freezer Bag: Get yourself a thick freezer bag. You need to make sure they’re entirely airtight.

Bag Up and Seal: Place your candy canes in the bag, seal it up and try to remove as much air from the bag as possible.

Freeze: Place the bag into the freezer and you’re done.
Devotion to the souls in Purgatory contains in itself all the works of mercy, which supernaturalized by a spirit of faith, should merit us Heaven. de Sales
