I admire how JD Vance doesn't mince words and knows his stuff. He handles any debate thrown at him with a grace and finesse that is amazing.
If that was me, I'd get so emotional that I wouldn't be able to cite the facts that I knew to be true. They'd all be swept away in a flood of emotions that would prevent me from saying anything useful. Hours, sometimes days later my mune would process and pull up the information to refute. But of course that is usually too late to do any good.
