Tower OF Ivory Designs Mission Statement

Specializing in Modest Apparel and Alterations

Seamstress: Laura Bosse

Tower of Ivory Designs is dedicated to making modest clothing.   This is an attempt to provide an alternative to the immodest fashions, which are so common.   The seamstress works by commission.  That means the customer provides fabric and notions (zipper, buttons, thread and the like), while she provides the labor.  The customer chooses from one of the patterns the seamstress owns.  Pictures of the pattern options will be displayed.   Custom fitting is also possible.  All custom fit garments are double the standard prices.

Eventually Tower of Ivory Designs would like to expand and offer fabric, notions and its own designs.   As of now, that is not possible.

Laura Bosse is a homeschool student in her junior year of highschool. She is the eldest of six wonderful siblings. Her musical history consists of four years of piano and two years of Celtic harp. She received an excellent founding in music from her piano teacher, which enabled her to teach herself to play the Celtic harp.

A Celtic harp is smaller and shaped differently than a concert harp. In addition, they are played with two different techniques and generally play different types of music (the Celtic plays more folk music while the concert plays more classical music). Laura would like to eventually play Celtic harp at a professional level.

Currently Laura has begun her own modesty sewing business, "Tower of Ivory Designs". Her other interests include reading books by G. K. Chesterton, J.R.R. Tolkien and history books, as well as writing.
